Efford Endicott

Efford Endicott, 93 of Gibert, departed this life on Thursday, January 17, 2013 in Columbus Ohio.

Born September 23, 1919, he was the son of the late Liss and Hattie Kirk Endicott.

Efford was a coal miner and an empolyee of Peak’s Ford Garage. He enjoyed working in his yard, cleaning his Ford vehicles and spending time at the Ford Garage in Gilbert.

In addition to his parents he was preceeded in death by his daughter: Helen Carole Endicott Christian, great granddaughter: Catherine "Catie" Christian, brothers: Clinton "Chicken" Endicott and Auxier Endicott and sisters: Marie Brown and Letha Trent.

Those left to cherish the memory of Efford include his daughter and son-in-law Linda and Neil Montgomery, son-in-law Terry Christian, Grandchildren: Greg (Christy) Christian, Susan (Todd) Lucas, Dawn Montgomery Taylor (Daniel), Cristy Padgett and Steven (Lisa-Ann) Christian. Great Grandchildren: Austin Lucas, Audra Lucas, Andrew Christian, Abigail Christian, Cameron Christian, Connor Christian, Hanna Padgett, Chase Johnson and Emma Johnson , two special nephews Roger Endicott and David Endicott a host of nieces ,nephews, dear family and friends.

Friends may gather with the family at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel in Gilbert on Monday, January 21st from 11:00am - 1:00pm . Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Monday with the Rev. Roger Endicott officiating.

Burial will follow in the Hollywood Cemetery at Gilbert.

Efford will be carried to his final resting place by family and friends.

He is gone from our sights but never from our heart.
