I really hate to hear of Efford's passing. It won't be the same to drive down Horsepen in warm weather & not see him sitting on the porch waving. God Bless you all & may you find comfort in your memories

We had no idea Efford had passed or we would have been there. Our whole family loved Efford and we always would wave when he would sit on his porch. We have missed him since he has been in ill health. So sorry for everyone's loss. Love and Prayers, Pam and Mark Cline Ashley Cline-Causey Cyndi Cline

Linda and Family: I am so sorry that i missed the visitation and funeral, I kept watching the Logan Banner, but the obituary wasn't listed. When I finally decided to check the Mounts Funeral Home website, it was 3:30pm on the 21st so, of course, I have missed it. Efford was a precious Uncle to my Dad (Hubert Endicott Hatfield - "Foo", he loved him so very much, and Efford loved Dad as well. He always told me whenever i had a chance to see him, how he would let me set on his lap when I was a baby. I have great memories of Efford throughout my childhood, always on holidays, family reunions or just a Sunday visit to Gilbert. He was an extremely loving man, who was as sharp as a tack. The last time that i spoke to him was in the hospital, on his last birthday. He still remembered me, although he was weakened physically, he was still strong in mind. I loved him and I am so very sorry for your loss, I know how you must have loved him, he had to have been the greatest Father.

Efford was always like a grandfather to me and Misty. We both thought the world of him. The last time I ever saw him was about 3 years ago at the Foodland in Gilbert. I asked him how old he was and he said 91. I told him he was a national treasure and he looked at me and died laughing. He will be greatly missed. All of his loved ones are in my thoughts and prayers at this time.

Efford was truly good to me as a young boy with my first job. He taught me much and was a fantastic person. May his family find comfort and peace.....

So sorry to hear of Efford's passing. He was a very special person. We will sure miss him sitting on his porch waving at everyone. Dad loved sitting and talking "Gilbert history" with him. He may be gone from this old world but he will never be forgotten....R.I.P. Efford...Love Richard, Mary Ellen, and Beth Ellis
