Virgil Larry Hatfield

Virgil Larry Hatfield, 56, of Browning Fork section of Gilbert, departed this life on Tuesday, July 3, 2007, at King's Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, Kentucky.

Born March 8, 1951, at Browning Fork, he was the beloved son of the late Jesse and Mary (Hatfield) Hatfield.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa (Hatfield) Hatfield, his beloved son, Virgil Hatfield, Jr., four brothers and four sisters.

Virgil was a disabled rock driller and of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include his companion of eleven years, Donna Mounts; a special person he called his daughter, Rachel Mounts; 3 brothers, Arnold (Betty) Hatfield, Arvil (Rita) Hatfield, and Layton (Crystal) Hatfield; 3 sisters, Juanita (Rush) Carter, Izetta (Douglas) Collins, and Immogene (Roby) Hatfield, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends may call at the Freedom Full Gospel Assembly House of Prayer, Hampden, on Friday, July 6, 2007, from 6 to 9 pm. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, on Saturday, July 7, 2007, at the Freedom Full Gospel Assembly House of Prayer with the Rev. Jonas Trent officiating. Burial will follow in the Carter Cemetery, Browning Fork.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
