I had the pleasure of known Vennie for many years. I had the priviledge of meeting him at Adkins Pharmacy. He was always so kind and had the sweetest smile. One day we were talking and I told him I was Oscar Vanover's daughter. He smiled so big and told me he had worked with and known my dad for many years. I have the fondest memories of one of the most considerate, kindest man I have met. My friend is now smiling down from Heaven.

I wish I could say or do something to ease your pain and heartache. There are no words, but I will pray for the comforter to hold you in His arms and wipe all tears from your eyes. Vennie was a wonderful uncle, brother, father, grandfather, and friend. A man who was loved by all, and he loved all. I know he is with Jesus and many other loved ones, resting at last. He has received his reward. I love you all! Rest in peace, uncle Vennie, I love you!!!

Vennie was a man that everyone loved, a mild mannered man who showed Christ in the life he lived. I love Vennie, told him so everytime I saw him, and he'd answer, "I love ya, too, girl!' and follow by a slight giggle. I know all the pain and sorrow he had experienced is over and he is at peace with his lord & savior, Jesus Christ. For my family, I wish I could take all the pain and heartbreak that you are going through, but I can't, so I pray to God, our only comforter, to ease it all. I love you each and every one! Rest at peace, Vennie, I will see you again, in the morning! Kiss all the family for me, and tell them all we will see them soon!!!
