Macie Wallace, 86, formerly of Justice, WV went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday, May 9, 2013, from her daughter’s home in Wharncliffe, WV. She has joined her many loved ones waiting for her in heaven.
Born on April 2, 1927 at Justice, she was the daughter of the late McKinley and Murlie Blankenship Perry.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, Bobby Wallace, her beloved son Bradley Wallace, sisters: Elva Fortner, Hazel Lester and Dolly Adkins, and brothers Opal Perry and Hoover Perry.
Macie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Her greatest joy was her family and Church. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time outdoors, walking and tending her flowers. She was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church of Justice.
Macie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to love and cherish the memory of Macie and to mourn her passing include her daughter, Charleta (Melvin) Brooks, her son, Roderick (Barbara) Wallace, her grandchildren Nicole Brooks Mounts, Nick (Elizabeth) Brooks, Whittney Wallace, Brittney (Davey) Ward and Maryann (Steven) Robinette, her great-grandchildren Skyler Mounts, Dylan Brooks, Jacob and Joccelyn Cline, EmyLeigh Mitchell PaisLeigh Ward and Cole Robinette. Macie is also survived by her sister Nancy Rife and her brother Lyle (Cora) Perry, many nieces, nephews, her Church family and a host of other dear family and friends.
The family would like to extend their gratitude and love to the nurses and aides from Dignity Hospice, especially Carolyn Robinson and Sherry Vance for all the love and care shown to Macie during her last days.
Visitation for Macie will be held Sunday, May 12, 2013 at the First Missionary Baptist Church of Justice.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 13, 2013 at 12:00 pm at the First Missionary Baptist Church of Justice with Reverends Jim Nagy and Jackie Lester officiating.
Burial will follow In Palm Memorial Gardens at Matheny.
Macie will be carried to her final resting place by family and friends.
She is gone from our sight but never from our hearts.

Visitation: Sunday, May 12th from 6 pm to 9 pm
Funeral: Monday, May 13th at 12 pm
