Thank you, Gary, for putting up with me in the cockpit 30 years ago and making me the pilot I am today. You were tough on me, and I appreciate it now (far more than I did at the time.) Maybe we'll fly together again someday.

Was very sad to hear of Gary's passing. I worked we Gary on many Airport Projects both at the old & new facilities for many years. Gary always met me with a smile & hand shake. He was a great leader on the Airport Authority. If you needed him he was always there, even though he may be a few minutes later at times. Even with his busy schedule, he always made time for your needs. Gary will be greatly missed in the aviation community. Brian Huffman, Chapman Technical Group

II WAS PREACHING A FUNERAL SHORTLY AFTER GARY GAVE HIS LIFE TO THE LORD. I SEEN BROTHER GARY SITTING THERE. I STOPPED AND SAID ANYTIME PEOPLE LIKE GARY STEPP SEE THEIR NEED OF GOD IT IS AN END TIME SIGN. I MEANT IT AS A COMPLIMENT. GARY TOLD A LOT OF PEOPLE WHAT I DID TO HIM. I BELIEVE HE ENJOYED THE COMMENT. MAY GOD BLESS HIS FAMILY DENNY MAY
