A loving child of God, Curtis Cline, 54 of Baisden, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and to join his loved ones waiting for him in heaven, on Sunday, October 10, 2010, at UPMC at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Born on August 28, 1956, at Iaeger, he was the son of Dexter and Nina Blankenship Cline.
Curtis was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a disabled coal miner and a member of the Full Gospel Church of God at Baisden. He enjoyed hunting, guns, and 4 wheeling. He loved spending time with his wonderful family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to love and cherish his memory and to carry on his legacy include his loving wife of 34 years, whom he married on July 9, 1976, Denise Bailey Cline of Baisden; his daughter, Heather (Bartley) Brown of Charleston; his son Heath (Ashley) Cline of Hurricane; his parents, Dexter and Nina Cline of Baisden; his two grandsons: Jordan Brown and Cameron Cline; his brother, Cleatis (Cindy) Cline of Tamcliffe; his three sisters: Ruth Ann (Dennis) Bailey of Baisden, Patricia Wade of Glasgow, and Regina (Alfred) Blankenship of Baisden; and a host of other dear family and friends.
Friends may gather with the family at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel in Gilbert on Friday, October 15th from 6 to 9 pm, with a service at 7 pm.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 16th, at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jonas Trent and Rev. Diamond Carter officiating.
Burial will follow in the Roy Cline Cemetery at Baisden.
He will be carried to his final resting place by: Eric and Dustin Blankenship, Dillard & Heath Cline, Bartley Brown, and Ray, Timmy, and Brian Bailey.
He is gone from our sight but never from our hearts.
