Claudette Morgan

Claudette (Nana) Morgan, 55, of Crab Orchard entered into eternal rest on Friday December 6, 2013. She was surrounded by her loving family as she took her final breaths.

Born April 21, 1958 in Welch, WV she was the daughter of Nancy E. Hatfield and the late Franklin D. Hatfield of Hanover, WV.

Claudette was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with her family, camping, and most of all spoiling her two grandsons. Her compassion for others strong will and above all, love and faith in the Lord left behind a legacy that will never be forgotten.

In addition to her mother those left behind to cherish her memories are her devoted husband of 32 years, Herbert Morgan Jr., a daughter Latisha Cochran and husband Dusty of Crab Orchard, WV and grandsons, Gavin and Maddox (Maggix). A son Jeremy Morgan of Lake Norman, NC. Two sisters, Andrea Bledsoe and husband Doug of Hanover, WV and Nannie King of Charleston, WV. Four brothers, Oley Hatfield and wife Marsha, Meredith Hatfield and wife Regina, James and Barry Hatfield all of Hanover, WV. Three brothers-in-law Randy Morgan and wife Drema of Indian Creek, Steve Morgan and wife Tammy of Dandridge, TN, Kenny Morgan and wife Sonja of Saulsville, WV. Two sisters-in-law Elizabeth Atwell, Barbie Cline and husband Tracy all of Indian Creek, WV. A precious mother-in-law Hattie Morgan of Indian Creek, WV and a very dear friend Mila Darnell of Coal Mountain, WV.

Friends may gather with the family, Wednesday, December 11th, 2013 at the Cornerstone Freewill Baptist Church from 6 to 9 pm.

A tribute of Claudette’s life will be on Thursday December 12, 2013 at 1 pm at the Cornerstone Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. James Ellis officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Harper Rd. Beckley, WV.
