I remember when my family would go to visit when the kids were all in school and they lived at Mare Branch will be greatly missed.

Mabel and Charles-We are very sorry about Berthel's passing. He was a good man and I've known him many a year. We will all miss him. It will be hard on you without him but God will help you through these hard times. Believe and trust in God. Pam Lambert.

I am so sorry to hear of Berthal's passing. I loved him and I know Mamaw Mary loved him. He made her final years not so lonely. Your family will be in our prayers.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My family and I had opportunity to meet Berthal several years ago and we talked several times after that. He was always so polite and friendly and we had something in common as we both liked chickens and he had raised some in the past. I loved to hear him pray and I often commented to my wife that he prayed the most beautiful and heartfelt prayers I'd ever witnessed. We send deepest condolences to the family and ask that GOD will help you through this difficult and trying time. Berthel will be missed here but heaven is surely rejoicing to have him home....
