Belle Hatfield 86 of Browning Fork, departed this life on Saturday, December 5, 2009, at Logan Regional Medical Center at Logan.
Born at Browning Fork on June 2, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Angeline Hatfield Hatfield.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: her husband, Joe Hatfield; one son, Tommy Hatfield; and two brothers: Okey and Lewis Hatfield.
Belle was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a homemaker and attended the Browning Fork House of Faith. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to love and cherish her memory are: her loving son, Harry Hatfield of Browning Fork; her three loving daughters: Edna Hatfield of Browning Fork, Katherine Chapman of Varney, Oma (Hess) Lester of Varney; her seven precious grandchildren: Debbie Blair of Varney, Pamela Chapman of Varney, Dochie Chapman of Sarah Ann, Albert Chapman of Missouri, Howard Chapman of Varney, Angeline and Loucille Lester; her eight great grandchildren; her ten great great grandchildren; her two great great great grandchildren; and a host of other dear family and friends.
Friends may gather with the family at the Browning Fork House of Faith on Wednesday, December 9th after 6 pm. A service will be held at 7:00 pm.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 10th at the Browning Fork House of Faith with the Rev. Diamond Carter and the Rev. Lowell Smith officiating.
Burial will follow in the Carter Cemetery at Browning Fork.
She will be carried to her final resting place by: Howard "Bud" Chapman, Jr., Herman "Moon" Belcher, Dale Harrison, Joe Blankenship, Jr., and Doug "Chocolate" Hatfield.
Honorary pallbearers are: Earl Hatfield and Ronnie "Buck" Hatfield.
