Thelma Testerman

Thelma Testerman, 68 of Hanover, departed this life on Monday, August 16, 2010, at McDowell Nursing & Rehabilitation Center at Gary.

Born on March 2, 1942 at Belo, she was the daughter of the late Inez Stafford White.

Thelma was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a homemaker and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to love and cherish her memory include her son, Bobby V. Testerman of Hanover; her two daughters: Timlen (Teddy) Kitts of Chesterfield VA and Jenny (Randy) Perry of Isaban; her sister, Geneva Hatfield of Beckley; her brother, Junior (Lucille) Stafford of Iaeger; her half-brother, Perry White; her seven wonderful grandchildren: Shannon Toler, Jenette Newberry, Sara Perry, and Teddy Jr., Joshua, Brittani, and Kaylen Kitts; her three precious great grandchildren: Amber, Casey, and Brenton; and a host of other dear family and friends.

A special thank you to the nurses and staff at the McDowell Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for there kind and loving care.

Friends may gather with the family at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel in Gilbert on Thursday, August 19th from 12 noon to 2 pm.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 19th at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Browning officiating.

Burial will follow in the Verner Cemetery at Verner.

She will be carried to her final resting place by friends.
