Shirley Mounts

Shirley Mounts, 78 of Baisden departed this life to join her loved ones waiting for her in Heaven on Friday, January 10, 2014 from her residence.

Born on July 7, 1935 at Baisden, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Nancy (White) Cline.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was also preceded in death by her loving husband: Arvid Mounts, Sr.; her son: Victor Mounts.

Shirley was a member of the Rosa Old Regular Baptist Church of Jesus Christ at Baisden, WV. She loved to garden, work with her flowers, and spend time with the many cats that she loved so much.

Those left to love and to cherish the memory of Shirley are her sons: Arvid Mounts, Jr., and Sam Mounts, both of Baisden; her sisters: Dorothy (Paul) Brown of Tucson, Ar., Lou Anna (Spencer) McCoy of Newark, Ohio; her brothers: Freddy (Freda) Cline of Baisden, Stanley (Rena) Cline of Leesburg, Ga, Roger (Judy) Cline of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and Timothy (Joyce) Cline of Mt. Vernon, Ohio; her granddaughters: Morgan and Jordan Mounts; and a host of other dear nieces, nephews, and other family and friends whom she loved.

Friends may gather with the family Sunday, January 12, 2014 from 6 to 9 pm at the Rosa Old Regular Baptist Church of Jesus Christ at Baisden, with service at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, January 13, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the Rosa Old Regular Baptist Church of Jesus Christ with the Elder. Albert Cabels, Elder. Hobert Hamilton and Elder. Danny Hurley officiating. Burial will follow in the Cline and Richie Family Cemetery at Baisden. Shirley will be carried to her final resting place by family and friends.
