Kathleene Shepherd

Kathleene Shepherd, 82 of Hanover, went home to be with the Lord and her loving husband of 62 years, Earl Shepherd, on Monday, June 16th, 2014, from Bluefield Regional Medical Center.

Born March 30th, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Lacy and Deltie Shannon Hatfield of Hanover.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Kathleene and to mourn her passing include her two daughters Linda (Timmy) Lowe and Joy Gail (Robert) Steele, all of Hanover; her four grandchildren: Cindy (Ricky) Lusk, Cathy (Dennis) Wiley, Gregory Earl Lowe and Timmy Shawn Lowe, all of Hanover; her three great-grandchildren: Kayla Leann Lusk , Gregory Scott Lowe and Michael “Mikie” Coleman, all of Hanover; her sister, Norma “Babe” Lester of Hanover; and a host of other dear family and friends.

Friends may gather with the family at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel in Gilbert on Thursday, June 19th from 6 pm to 9 pm with a special service at 7 pm.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, June 20th at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Lester and Rev. Ronnie Lester officiating.

Burial will follow in the Hatfield Cemetery at North Spring, WV.

Kathleene will be carried to her final resting place by family and friends.

She is gone from our sight but never from our hearts.
