Jimmy Mounts

Mr. James ‘Jim’ Mounts 60 of Chapmanville, WV was born March 15, 1953 at Welch, WV a son of the late Charles Argus and Helen May Testerman Mounts. He departed this life on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Logan Regional Medical Center at Logan, WV. Mr. Mounts was a disabled coal miner and operator, a member of the UMWA, a member of the Aracoma Lodge #99 A.F. & A.M., 32Eš Scottish Rite Mason, and was a member of; Logan Chapter of Royal Arch, Logan Commandry, Beni-Kedem Shrine Temple of Charleston, WV and the Logan Shrine Club. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Sarah Beth Mounts. Survivors include, wife, Sandra Mutters Mounts, daughters, Tonya (Junior) Hagy and Tanya Mounts, son, Jimmy Argus Mounts, brother, Johnny (Marsha) Mounts, sisters, Marcella (Jerry) Mounts, Debra Walls and Kristi (Brian) Beddow, grandchildren, Carrie Beth Dean, Natalie Hagy, Lucas Eli Hagy and Clarence Evan Scarberry and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Services will be conducted 1:00 PM Monday, December 23, 2013 at the Forest Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum at Pecks Mill, WV with Rev. Carl Wolford officiating, where Masonic Mausoleum Services will be conducted and his cremains will be inurned. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for any donations be made to the Logan Shrine Club, Logan, WV 25601 in memory of Jim. Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services at Chapmanville, WV are serving the Mounts Family in helping carry out Jim’s wishes.
