Jimmy Davis

Jimmy Davis 38, of Gilbert, departed this life on Thursday, August 14, 2008, at Bull Creek of Mohawk.

Born on October 1, 1969, at Man WV, he was the son of Vidie (Christian) Davis Berry and James Willy Davis.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his step-father, Alfred "Fred" Berry.

He was disabled and of the Jesus Only faith.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Jimmy are: his loving wife of 17 years, Tina Davis of Gilbert; his son, Jimmy Davis, Jr. of Gilbert; his daughter, Crystal Marie Davis of Gilbert; his mother, Vidie Berry of Gilbert; his father, James Davis of Gilbert; his two brothers: James Davis, Jr., and Chuck Berry, both of Gilbert; his sister, Melissa Jane Berry of Gilbert; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Jimmy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Friends called at the Full Gospel Church of God at Baisden on Sunday, August 17th from 6 to 10 pm. Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm on Monday, August 18th with the Rev. Mark Stanley, Rev. Matthew Stanley, and the Rev. Barbara Stanley officiating. Burial followed in the Henderson Cemetery at Bull Creek. Family and friends served as pallbearers.
