Irma Grimmett

Irma Grimmett, 83 of Verner, WV, departed this life on Tuesday, November 12, 2013, from Logan Regional Medical Center, Logan, WV.

Born October 23, 1930, at Verner, WV she was the daughter of the late Iaeger and Vera Harvey Browning.

Irma was preceded in death by her loving husband Dennie “Judd” Grimmett, 5 brothers: Richard “Dick”, Forest, Foster, Paul and Clifford Bowning: 1 Sister; Melda Justice. She was of the Holiness Faith. She loved being with her family and friends.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Irma are her 2 sons: Eddie (Wilma Dawn) Grimmett of Verner, and Billy “Pete” Hatley of Bruno, 2 daughters: Debra (Bob) Flint of Orlando, FL and Gail (Bert) Browning of Columbus, OH; 8 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren; Her brother Iaeger (Donna) Browning Jr. of California and 2 sisters; Ruth Goins, of Arkansas and Shelba (Randall) Hanshaw of California and a host of other dear family and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Saturday, November 16, 2013 at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel from 6-10 pm. Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 17, 2013 at 1:00pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Anthony Hudgins officiating. Burial will follow at Browning Cemetery, Verner, WV. Irma will be carried to her final resting place by her family and friends. She is gone from our sight but never from our heart.
