Eldred Williamson, 81, of Bruno, passed peacefully to join his family in Heaven on Tuesday, October 25, 2016, from Trinity Healthcare of Henlawson. Born February 3, 1935, at Bruno, he was the son of the late Ransom and Jettie Ferrell Williamson. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Pearl Hall; five brothers: Paul Williamson, Floyd "Jim" Williamson, Harrison Williamson, Ransom "Yank" Wiliamson, and Bob Williamson. Eldred has been a devoted Christian since 1974 and a faithful member of Pathway Church of God. He enjoyed gospel bluegrass music, playing the banjo, and Christian fellowship. Those left to cherish his memory include his sister: Beverly (Gene) Sparks of Columbus, OH; two brothers: Charlie (Brenda) Williamson of Bruno and Leslie (Sandy) Williamson of Robinette. Eldred also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and a host of other dear family and friends. The family wishes to thank the staff at Trinity Health Care and special thanks to Alice Williamson and the late Yank Williamson, and also to Mary and Spot Toler for their special attention and love shown to Eldred throughout the years. Special graveside services will be conducted by Rev. Roger Frye at Highland Memory Gardens at Godby on Thursday, October 27, 2016, at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that monetary donations be made to the Church of your choice. He is gone from our sight but never from our hearts.
