Earl Shepherd

Earl Shepherd, 84 of Hanover, WV was called home to be with the Lord Friday, June 8th, 2012 from Bowers Hospice House, Beckley, WV.

Born March 25, 1928 at Hanover, he was the son of the Late Frank and Merva (Lester) Shepherd.

Earl was preceded in death by 1 sister Inez Lawrence, and 3 brothers: Freeland, Clark and Jr Shepherd.

Earl was of the pentacostal faith and a member of the JusticeTabernacle Church.

Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Kathleene Hatfield Shepherd of Hanover; Daughters; Joy Gail (Robert) Steele, and Linda (Timothy) Lowe both of Hanover: granddaughters Cindy (Ricky) Lusk and Cathy (Dennis) Wiley of Hanover: great grandkids: Kayla Lusk, James (Mickie) Coleman, and Gregory Scott Lowe of Hanover: grandsons; Gregory Earl and Timmy (Shawn) Lowe of Hanover; brothers; Virgil Ray Shepherd of Oceana, and Roy Shepherd of Jacksonville, FL: A special friend and partner; Charles England of Grandview, WV; One special sister-in-law: Norma (Babe) Lester.

Friends may gather with the family Sunday, June 10th, 2012 from 6 to 9 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, with special services at 7 pm.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, June 11th, 2012 at 1: pm with the Rev. Ronnie Lester and Rev. Dennis Lester officiating.

Burial will follow in the Hatfield Cemetery at North Springs.

Earl will be carried to his final resting place by family and friends.
