Densil Lester 64 of Baisden, departed this life on Monday, February 25, 2008, at Ikes Fork, WV.
Born on March 11, 1943 at Baisden, he was the son of the late Marshall and Geneva (Cline) Lester.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Edward Lester; one sister, Ellen Neice; and two brothers: Daniel and Norman Lester.
Dencil was a retired coal miner and of the Church of God Faith.
Those left to love and cherish the memory of Dencil are: his three sons: Hank (Ruby) Lester of Princeton, Densil "Pug" Lester, Jr., of Princeton, and Keith (Marlena) Bailey of Ikes Fork; his daughter, Krissy (Ken) Lester of Gilbert; his ten grandsons; three granddaughters; two great grandchildren; his brother, Bernie Lester of Baisden; and a host of family and friends.
Friends called at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel in Gilbert on Friday, February 29th from 6 to 9 pm. Funeral services were held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 1st at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jonas Trent officiating. Burial followed in the Oak Log Cemetery at Baisden.
Pallbearers were: Kerry Browning, Larry Cline, Denny Lester, Keith Bailey, and Brett Brumfield. Honorary pallbearers were Jason Lester.
