Pauline Lois (Hatfield) Hatfield

Pauline “Pretty Polly” Hatfield, 78 of Browning Fork section of Gilbert, WV departed this life Saturday, March 16, 2024 from CAMC Specialty Hospital, Charleston, WV.

Born November 18, 1945 at Welch, WV she was the daughter of the late Zettie (Cantrell) Hatfield and Johnse Robert Hatfield; stepfather: Jess (June) Hatfield.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her brothers: Jessie (Junior) Hatfield and Lonnie Gene Hatfield.

Polly loved flowers, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.  She was of the Baptist Faith.

Those left to love and cherish her memory are her daughter: Michelle (Ronald) Bailey of Browning Fork; son: Randy (Sherri) Hatfield of Shady Wood; grandchildren: Amy and Josh Bailey, Brittany and Kayla Hatfield, Taz Sinett, Samantha Clark; great grandchildren: Jewellia and Liam Bailey, Brooklyn, Johnie, Addison, Aubree, Ava, Arianna, Kacetyn, Larry, Corey, Aaliyah, Abigail, Haley, Savannah, Brayden, and Harper; sisters: Connie Sue May and Emogene Shirkey; brothers: Roger Hatfield, Dale (Diane) Hatfield, Ronald (Sherry) Hatfield.  She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 12:00 till 2:00 pm in the chapel of Mounts Funeral Home, where funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm with Rev. Denny May officiating.  Burial will follow in the Carter Cemetery at Browning Fork, Gilbert, WV.

Polly will be carried to her resting place by her family and friends.

Her wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by everyone who was fortunate to have known and loved her.
