Kathryn Lynn Ellis

 Kathryn Lynn Ellis, 49, of Gilbert WV, departed this life, Friday March 20, 2024. Born November 25, 1974 in Man, WV, she was the daughter of the late Alice (Frank) Hatfield and Winford Buddy Ellis Sr.

  In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her grandparents: Hollie (Janie) Ellis and Tracy (Elsie) Wiley; her brother: Winford Buddy Ellis Jr; nephew: Phillip Hensley; niece: Kaylynn Hensley.

  Kathy loved her children and grandchildren dearly!  She also loves the Dallas cowboys, music, roses, and spending time with family and friends. She was a very outgoing and outspoken person. She had the best heart and one of the most beautiful souls you would ever meet!

  Those left to love and cherish her memory are her daughters: Desiree Davis of Hanover, WV and Kesha (Joe) Justus of NC; her son: Coty Fite of TN; grandchildren: Olivia Davis, Brylan and Acacia Justus, all of Hanover, WV; sisters: Betty Ellis, Wanda (Alfred) Gibson, Audrey (Jim) Foley, and Amanda Ellis; brothers: Gregory (Rosalee) Ellis, Steven Ellis, Jimmy (Corrinna) Ellis; special friend: Brian Rodriguez; nephews: Shane and Kaleb Justice, Isaiah and Michael Ellis, Keith Mounts Jr; nieces: Patricia Russell, Brianna Blackburn, Cassandra Gibson, Pamela Thomas, and Arieoanna Ellis.  She also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.

   Friends may gather with the family Thursday, March 28, 2024 from 1:00 till 3:00 pm in the chapel of Mounts Funeral Home where funeral services will begin at 3:00 pm with Pastor Carl "Cab" Wolford officiating.  Burial will follow in the Cline Family Cemetery at Steeles, Hanover, WV.

    Kathy will be carried to her final resting place by her closest family and friends!

    Her wonderful smile and beautiful heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved her.
