Alfred Joe Berry

Alfred Joe Berry, 60 of Red Jacket, WV, departed this life Friday, March 15, 2024 from Tug Valley ARH, So. Williamson, KY.

Born September 13, 1963 in Logan County, he was the son of the late Elbert and Janice (Johnson) Berry.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Cordia and Preston Johnson; paternal grandparents: Joseph and Jane Berry; brothers: Elbert, Phillip, and Preston Berry; nephew: Allen Hinkle; niece: Tanessa Marsh; sister-in-law: Cindy Berry.

Alfred enjoyed deer hunting, and spending time with his family and friends.

Those left to love and cherish his memory are his companion of 14 years: Trudy Hinkle of Red Jacket, WV; sisters: Barbara (Raymond) Ellis and Wilma (Thurman) Hinkle, all of Wharncliffe, WV., Missy Patrick of Princeton, WV; brothers: Michael (Brina) Berry of Baisden, WV and Jerry Berry of Wharncliffe, WV.  He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 12:00 till 1:00 pm in the chapel of Mounts Funeral Home where funeral services will commence at 1:00 pm with Rev. Danny Ward and Rev. Denny May officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hatfield Cemetery at Wharncliffe, WV.

Alfred will be carried to his resting place by his family and friends.

He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
