Harry Edward Woods

Harry Edward Woods, 78 of North Spring, WV departed this life Saturday, February 21, 2026, from Hospice of Southern West Virginia, Beckley, WV.

Born July 17, 1947, in Troy, New York, he was the son of the late Henry and Lydia (Wager) Woods.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded by his grandfather: Harry Woods.

Harry enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  He was a restaurant/bar owner and an accountant.  He had served in the U.S. Army and he was of the Baptist Faith.

Those left to love and cherish his memory is his loving wife: Bethany (Carter) Woods of the home; children: Michael Woods, Theresa Woods, and Harry Woods, Jr; stepson: Justin (Kirsten) McCue; step grandsons: Seth and Nikolai McCue; grandchildren: Nathan, Matthew, Megan, Jeremy, Travis, and Sarah; several great grandchildren; sister: Geraldine Briggs.  He also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives, friends, and acquaintances.   

In honoring his request, Harry was cremated.  A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.

His wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved him.
