You will always be in my heart and mind. I love you with all my heart and sole.See you there. Your son Larry.

Wanda, I never will forget

Wanda, I never will forget what your words to me were in one of our conversations,,,,You said that you had given your heart to Jesus and you even knew as a child that was the way it was meant to be. Now you pain and suffering is gone and you are with our Lord and Savior .Your twin grandchildren, Laura C. Jefferies ans Heather A. Stokes,my daughters were the tie that was the bond, So sorry that none of us..were not notified that you were gone until today and it is February 11,2011. Your son Larry the father of your grandaughters did not know either. I found out via computer and had to be the one to tell them. By saying that I am saying there was noway any of then could attend to give you the respect you deserved! I still cook the way you taught me and have the memories of you in my heart. Next time I see you I will be smiling as in heaven we will be known as we were known. Absent from the body is present with the Lord. Betty (Toni) Stokes Almond.

To my beloved ma maw. I

To my beloved ma maw. I remember picking flowers for you and you picking berries for me. I remember all the great Christmas, sleeping in your house, washing clothes, and living and good and honest life with you. Thank you for helping raise me, and being the best grandmother a granddaughter could ever want. I remember asking you, are you ready? You said, "Lord Yes." I rejoice that you are now at peace and with our father in heaven and those we have loved that parted before you. Yet I do ask you for one final request... will you say hello to my pa paw for me? Love, Laura Crystalena.

Dear Ma-Maw. I remember

Dear Ma-Maw. I remember looking at flowers and picking them for you, you picking berries and apples for me, taking baths while you washed me, washing clothes in an old washing machine, and cooking and eating lots of great food with you. I remember the last time I saw you and I laid in the bed with you. I remember asking, are you ready ma-maw? And you said, "Lord, yes." Now that you have parted from this world, you live with God and in the hearts of those who loved you so. I simply have one request, please say hello to my pa-paw for me. farewell, my beloved, i will look up at the stars and know you are watching over us all. Love, your grandchild, Laura Crystalena Stokes.
