Texanna Bailey, 54, of Glen Fork, departed this life on Saturday, July 12th, 2014 at Bowers Hospice House of Beckley.
Born May 2, 1960, at Welch, she was the daughter of the late John and Elousie Kenneda Conn.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant sister; one sister, Elizabeth Barnett; one brother, Delno Conn and one nephew, Brandon Conn.
Texanna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a born again Christian who loved singing for the Lord and letting others know about Him. She was a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle. She will truly be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
She leaves behind her husband, Carlos Bailey; her two step-sons: Jeremiah Bailey of Glen Fork and James Bailey of North Carolina; her two step-daughters: Amy Lounsbury and Crystal Gladden both of North Carolina; her sister, Eleanor (Brownie) Osborne of Long Branch; her two brothers: Joseph (Hazel) Conn and Addlee (Mary) Conn all of Long Branch; seven nephews, five nieces, several great nieces and nephews, a great church family, two very special friends: Liz and Don Raegan, along with a host of other dear relatives and friends.
Friends may gather with the family at the Long Branch Freewill Baptist Church on Tuesday, July 15th from 6-9 pm. Funeral services will commence at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, July 16th at the church with Rev. Delana Dainels and Rev. Lonnie Blankenship officiating.
Burial will follow in the Conn Cemetery at Long Branch. Texanna will be carried to her final resting place by family and friends.
She is gone from our sight but never from our hearts.

Visitation: Tuesday, July 15, 2014 from 6-9pm
Funeral: Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 1:00pm
Place: Long Branch Freewill Baptist Church
