Ricky Clinton Lester, 46 of Hanover, departed this life on Saturday, June 27th, 2009, at Logan Regional Medical Center at Logan.

Born at Welch on January 27, 1962, he was the son of the late William Bertie and Ardith Browning Lester.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by seven sisters and four brothers.

Ricky was a loving brother, uncle, and friend. He was a disabled general laborer.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Ricky are: his brothers and sisters: Franklin Lester, Jimmy (Rosie) Lester, Willis (Penny) Lester, Roger (Sharon) Lester, Curtis Lester, Dale (Lynn) Lester, Michael Lombardi, Charlene Lombardi, Lucille (Jimmy) Collins, Donna (David) Thompson, Lynn (Michael) Justice, Shawn Hatfield, and several nieces, nephews, and a host of other dear family and friends.

Friends called at the Hanover House of Faith at Joe Point, Hanover, on Monday, June 29th from 6 to 10 pm with a service at 7:00 pm.

A celebration of his life was held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, June 30th, at the Hanover House of Faith with the Rev. Ronnie Lester and the Rev. Jackie Lester officiating.

Burial followed in the Lester Family Cemetery at Joe Point, Hanover.

He was carried to his final resting place by: Mark Lester, Brandon, David S., and David B. Thompson, Mike Justice, and Adam Barnett.
