Rex Cline, 76 of Baisden, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and to join his many loved ones waiting for him in heaven, on Saturday, November 12, 2011, at CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston.
Born on May 19, 1935 at Baisden, he was the son of the late Bill and Mallie Cline.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter, Debra Trent; one sister, Freda Kerns Gill; and one brother, Ernest Cline.
Rex was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was a retired coal miner and operator and a member of the Rosa Old Regular Baptist Church. He loved to go hunting and he loved spending time with his wonderful family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to love and cherish the memory of Rex and to mourn his passing include his loving wife, Pauline Layne Cline; his three daughters: Lana (James) Salmons, Drema (Denny) Roberson and Sheena (Randall) Bragg; his son, Bradley (Johnna) Cline; his thirteen grandchildren: Cherie Plumley, Tiffany New, Jamie Salmons, Glenn Trent III, Sommer West, Dustin Trent,
Wesley Roberson, Dylan Roberson, Haylea Roberson, Trevor Cline, Kansas Cline, Tennille Cline and Kayla Bragg; his six great-grandchildren: Whitni Salmons, Alex Salmons, Hannah New, Jeilyn West, James Cline and Keira Cline; his 2 sisters: Rita Cline and Ruby Ritchie; and a host of other dear family and friends.
Friends may gather with the family at the Rosa Old Regular Baptist Church at Baisden on Thursday, November 17th after 6 pm.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Friday, November 18th at the Rosa Old Regular Baptist Church with Elder Hobart Hamilton and the elders of the church officiating.
Burial will follow in the Rex Cline Cemetery at Baisden.
Rex will be carried to his final resting place by: Jamie Salmons, Glenn Trent III, Dustin Trent, Wesley Roberson, Dylan Roberson and Michael Plumley.
He is gone from our sight but never from our hearts.

Visitation: Thursday, November 17th after 6 pm
Funeral: Friday, November 18th at 1:00 pm
Place: Rosa Old Regular Baptist Church at Baisden, WV
