Regina Davis

Regina Davis, 55 of Delbarton, departed this life Saturday, June 25, 2016 from Logan Regional Medical Center. Born June 1, 1961 at Welch, she was the daughter of the late Frank Lilly and Violet Gravely Cook. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her step-father: Norris "Nig" Cook; her brothers: Danny Lilly and Oley Cook; nephews: Chad E. Sammons and Earl Lilly; her brother in laws: Charles Cline and Donnie Sammons. Regina had worked as a custodian for the Mingo County Board of Education. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was of the Pentecostal Faith. Those left to love and cherish her memory and to mourn her loss are her son: Lionel (Jamie) Browning of Baisden; her daughters: Crystal (Chad) Blankenship of Gilbert and Tiffany (Musco Adams) Harris of Baisden; her grandchildren: Sydney, Olivia and Jonah Browning, Hunter Salmons, Treysean Goldie, Myles, Makale, Donte, Jazzmyn, Reginald, and Makiah Adams, and Tanner Meade; her sisters: Marsha (Donnie) Sammons, Rowena (Vent) Browning, Eloise Cook and Bertha (Robby) Christian; sister-in-law: Donna (Jamie) Scarberry; nieces: Melissa Runyon, Stephanie White and Brandy Toler; nephews: Frank Blankenship, Chris Browning,, Bryan Lilly, Danny Lilly Jr., and Rodney Cook; her special friends: Martha Adams, Robby Christian and Richard Ellis. Friends may gather with the family Tuesday, June 28, 2016 from 6 to 9 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with special service at 7 pm. Funeral services will commence at the Chapel Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 1:00 pm with the Rev. Winfred Bradford, Rev. Ralphy Manuel and Rev. Diamond Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the Hollywood Cemetery at Gilbert. Regina will be carried to her final resting place by pallbearers: Robby Christian, Bryan :Lilly, Musco Adams, Rodney Cook, Sydney Browning, Dontae Adams, Makale Adams, Patrick Christian, Kent Browning and Frank Blankenship. Her wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved her.
