Randolph “Randy” Radford Webb, 73 of Hanover, formerly of Gilbert, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, March 8, 2010, from St Francis Hospital in Charleston.

Born on January 15, 1937 at Callaghen, Virginia, he was the son of the late Jessie and Annie Honaker Webb.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Earlene Webb; three brothers: Clifford, Marshall and Howard Webb and his sister, Dorothy Vance.

Randy was a loving father, father-in-law, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was also a lover of animals and opened his heart and home to them. He was a self-employed construction worker with C. E. Webb Construction, Webb Ready Mix, Webb’s Welding, and owner and operator of Lakeside Fast Stop. He was of the Baptist Faith, a 32nd Degree Mason, and a Shriner with the Beni Kedem Temple in Charleston, WV. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to love and cherish his memory and to carry on his legacy include his loving daughter, Sherry (Tim) Rutledge; his beloved son, Victor (Pat) Webb; his wonderful grandchildren: Kristen and Mariana Rutledge, Nicholas and Breanna Webb; his precious great granddaughter, Jaelyn Blofsky; his brother, Winston Webb of Richmond VA; and a host of family and friends.

Friends may gather with the family at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel in Gilbert on Wednesday, March 10th from 6 to 9 pm.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday March 11th at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Turner officiating. Burial will follow in the Justice Memorial Gardens at Justice.

He will be carried to his final resting place by his family and friend.

Honorary pallbearers are: Floyd Lester and Winston Webb.
