Mona Belcher

Mona Belcher, 81 of Bruno, was promoted to her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and her many loved ones waiting for her there, on Monday, April 4th, 2011, from Logan Regional Medical Center.

Born on June 27, 1929 in Logan County, she was the daughter of the late William and Anne Toler Belcher.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Zoma Belcher.

Mona was a loving and kind lady who loved and served the Lord. The church was her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the Sandlick Freewill Baptist Church at Bruno. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to love and cherish her memory and to mourn her passing include a host of cousins and their families; her wonderful church family; a special friend and caregiver, Diana Ellis; and a host of other dear family and friends.

Friends may gather to celebrate Mona’s life at the Sandlick Freewill Baptist Church at Bruno on Thursday, April 7th from 6 pm to 9 pm.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 8th at the Sandlick Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. James Ellis and Rev. Bill Cantrell officiating.

Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.

She will be carried to her final resting place by family and friends.

She is gone from our sight but never from our hearts.
