Mendy Salyers

Mendy Salyers, 64 of Hanover, departed this life Saturday, February 6, 2016 from Princeton Community Hospital.

Born August 7, 1951 at Bull Creek, she was the daughter of the late Millard and Zola (Lester) Salyers.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Salyers.

Mendy was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was of the Christian Faith.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Mendy are her daughters: Maria Salyers, and Deanna (Joey) Brown, all of Hanover; her grandchildren: Jarrod, Hunter, Adrianna, Mariah and Gabriella Brown; her brother: Columbus Salyers of Florida. Mendy also leaves behind a host of other dear family and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Thursday, February 11, 2016 after 6 pm at the Church of Zion, Ikes Fork, WV. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, February 12, 2016 at 11:00 am with the Rev. Elsie Blankenship and Rev. James Cline officiating.

Burial will follow in the Salyers Family Cemetery, Iaeger, WV.

Mendy will be carried to her final resting place by her family and friends.

Her wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her
