Maerene Mounts

Maerene Mounts, 78 of Baisden, departed this life on Saturday, August 25th, 2012, at Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston.

Born on October 20th, 1933, at Baisden, she was the daughter of the late Oza and Lena Cline.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lonnie Mounts, Jr.; her two sons: Mitchell and Timothy Mounts; and her twin sister, Irene Cline.

Maerene was a loving wife, a wonderful mother, a special grandmother, great and great-great-grandmother, sister aunt and friend. She was a retired store manager and of the Baptist faith. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Maerene and to mourn her passing include her son, Ronnie (April) Mounts of Gilbert; her two daughters: Jennifer (Danny) Mounts of Myrtle Beach SC and Linda (Mark) Cline of Baisden; her eight grandchildren: Mark (Tabby) Cline, Matthew (Johnna) Cline, Danny Mounts, Blake Mounts, Bradley (Stephanie) Mounts, Anthony (Melissa) Mounts, Valarie (Joel) Hayes and Robert Mounts; her fourteen great-grandchildren; her one great-great-grandchild; her special friends, Charles and Georgia Paynter; and a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel in Gilbert on Monday, August 27th from 6 pm to 9 pm.

Funeral services will commence at 7:00 pm on Monday, August 27th at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Nagy officiating.

She will be laid to rest in the Cline Family Cemetery at Baisden.

She will be carried to her final resting place by her grandsons and friends.

She is gone from our sight but never from our hearts.
