Leroy Hall

Leroy Hall, 69 of Tazewell Virginia, formerly of Varney, departed this life on Thursday, October 6, 2011, at his residence.

Born on February 22, 1942 at Panther, he was the son of the late Spencer and Bertha Blackburn Hall.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Nellie Hall; one brother, Franklin Hall; and one son, Leroy Hall, Jr.

Leroy was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He was a disabled coal miner. He enjoyed spending time with his wonderful family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Leroy and to mourn his passing include his son, Rocky Lee Hall; his three daughters: Teresa, Debbie and Mary Hall; his four step-children: Donna (Bobby) Matthews, Freddie “Kos” (Daisy) Cline, Tim (Connie) May and Debra (Thomas) Gannon; his four sisters: Betty Belcher, Dora (Marshall) Lee, Susie Frye and Hilda Lester; his two brothers: Joe and Larry Hall; two special grandsons: Casey Josh Marshall and Buddy; his six great grandchildren: and many nieces, nephews and a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel in Gilbert on Sunday, October 9th from 12 noon to 1:00 pm.

Funeral services will commence at 1:00 pm on Sunday, October 9th at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Danny May officiating.

Burial will follow in the Varney Cemetery at Varney.

Leroy will be carried to his final resting place by family and friends.

He is gone from our sight but never from our hearts.
