Leola Loberta Stacy, 79 of Gilbert, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and to join her loved ones waiting for her in Heaven, on Friday, June 5, 2009, from CAMC--Memorial Division.

Born on January 27, 1930 at Leatherwood, she was the daughter of the late, Rastus and Eva Pearl Walls Lester, Sr.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Mack Stacy; her three brothers:  Arnold, Junior Rastus, and Hubert Lester; her sister Inos Ramsey; and one great granddaughter, Tiara Jade Stacy.

Leola was a loving wife, mother, grand and great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Justice Tabernacle Church.  She loved going to church and working with her flowers.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to love and cherish her memory are:  her three beloved sons:  Ray Stacy of Seattle, Washington, Ronald G. (Sandy) Stacy of Browning Fork, and Mack Dennis Stacy of Huntington; her loving daughter, Debra Sue (Dennis Brian) Albright of Brandon, Vermont; her nine precious grandchildren:  Ronald “Ronnie” Stacy, Brandon and Corey Patrick; Matthew and Jessica Albright, Michael, Cameron, and Cara Stacy, and Sarah Stacy McGuffin; her three wonderful great grandchildren: Wesley, Sammy, and Will McGuffin; her five sisters:  Shirley (Buck) Browning of Hanover, Katherine (Arden) Hatfield, Teresia Wallace, Linda Hatfield, and Geneva Lester, all of Coal Mountain; and a host of other dear family and friends.

Friends called at the Justice Tabernacle Church at Justice on Monday, June 8th from 6 to 9 pm with a service at 7:00 pm.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, June 9th at the Justice Tabernacle Church with the Rev. Carl “Cab” Wolford and the Rev. Randall Staton officiating.

Entombment followed at Palm Memorial Gardens at Matheny.

She was carried to her final resting place by family and friends.
