Kennis Lee Justice, 68 of Justice, went to be with our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, April 11, 2012, from Logan Regional Medical Center in Logan.
Born on October 2, 1943, he was the son of the late Drewey and Marie Toler Justice.
In addition to he parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Christine Blankenship and two brothers: Benny and James Justice.
Kennis was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was a retired coal miner of 25 years and a devoted member and musical leader of the Justice Church of God. He spent his life sharing the word of God through his singing ministries. He enjoyed spending time with his wonderful family and friend and getting to share the wonderful message of the Lord with others. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to love and cherish the memory of Kennis and to mourn his passing include his loving life companion of 47 years, Zelda Cline Justice of Justice; his daughter, Melinda (Howard) Carter of Justice; his two sons: Allen (Cheri) Justice and Jason Justice, both of Justice; his brother, Freddy Justice of Justice; his four sisters: Joyce (Barry) Browning of Wharncliffe, Darlene (Mike) Toler of Cleveland OH, Sereta (Randy) Harvey of Justice and Karen (Michael) Hall of Justice; his four grandchildren: Sharanda (Brian) Stanley, Joseph Cline, Hope Justice and Tyler Carter; and a host of nieces, nephews and other dear relatives and friends.
Friends may gather with the family at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel in Gilbert on Sunday, April 15th from 6 pm to 9 pm, with a special service at 7 pm.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Justice Church of God on Monday, April 16, 2012 at 1:00 pm with the Rev. Bill Cresong, Rev. Denny May, Rev. Dale Collins and Rev. Jonas Trent officiating.
His final resting place will be in the Davis Cemetery at Justice.
He will be carried to his final resting place by: Howard and Tyler Carter, Joseph Cline, Mike Smith, Michael and Mikey Hall, Keith Lester and Russell Walls.
Honorary pallbearers are the members of the church.
He is gone from our sight but never our hearts.

Visitation: Sunday, April 15th from 6 pm to 9 pm
Place: Mounts Funera Home Chapel in Gilbert, WV
Funeral: Monday, April 16th at 1 pm
Place: Justice Church of God at Justice, WV
