Judd Cline

Judd Cline, 85 of Baisden, departed this life Friday, May 15, 2015 from his residence.

Born December 5, 1929 at Baisden, he was the son of the late Nat and Vonnie (Carter) Cline.

In addition to his parents Judd was also preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; 2 brothers: Sonny and Flemming Cline; 3 sisters: Retha Blankenship, Molly Lester and Zella Lockhart.

Judd was a retired coal miner, he loved going to church, gardening, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend to many. He was a member of the Rosa Old Regular Baptist Church.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Judd, and to mourn his passing are his loving wife of 62 and a half years, Dessie Mae Cline of Baisden, WV; his sons: Chris (Pam) Cline of Charleston, WV, Benjie (Tammy) Cline of Foster, WV, and Keith (Marsha) Cline of Christian, WV; his grandchildren: Kristie Cline of Tampa, FL, Kandice (Wesley) Sparks of Baisden, WV, Brian Keith (Rozie) Cline, Jr., of Hampden, WV, Emily Cline of Justice, WV, and Matthew Cline of Chapmanville, WV; his great-grandchildren: Gracie Sparks of Baisden, WV, and Annabelle Cline of Hampden, WV; his sisters: Evelyn Hatfield of Florida, and Vima Blankenship of Baisden, WV, brothers: Denzil (Tina) Cline, and Rex (Betty) Cline, all of Baisden, WV, Tex (Iris) Cline of North Carolina, and Jay (Marion) Cline of South Carolina. Judd also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Sunday, May 17, 2015 after 6 pm, at the Rosa Old Regular Baptist Church at Baisden, WV. Funeral services will be Monday, May 18, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Rosa Old Regular Baptist Church at Baisden, WV, with Elder Hobert Hamilton, Elder Freddy Cline, Elder Ivan Blankenship, Elder Richard Staten, Elder Bobby Scott, Elder Elbert Cisco, and Elder Eric Williamson officiating.

Burial will follow in the Cline Ritchie Cemetery at Pickering Fork, Baisden, WV.

Judd will be carried to his final resting place by pallbearers: Brian Cline, Jeremy May, Brandon Chambers, Trevor Porter, Josh Johnson and Drexel Cline. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Johnson, Wesley Sparks, Emerson Thompson, Charles Paynter, Charles Testerman, Frankie Cline and Steven Ritchie.

His wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved him.
