On Tuesday, May 3rd, 2011, John L. Browning, 76 of Gilbert, heard the Lord calling him to his heavenly home. He answered the call and departed this life from Logan Regional Medical Center in Logan.

He was a retired coal miner, a member of the UMWA, a member of the RD Bailey Hunting Club for 14 years, and secretary of the Trinity Conference. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and 4-wheeling. However, his greatest joy was in serving his Lord and Savior and spending time with his wonderful family, his church family, and his friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
