On Tuesday, May 10, 2011, Izetta Collins, 65 of Browning Fork, heard the Lord calling her to her heavenly home. She answered the call and departed this life from her residence, surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Born on December 23, 1945 at Browning Fork, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Lee and Mary Louise Hatfield.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one daughter, Pamela Nagle; one son-in-law, Darian Nagle; four sisters: Ethel Berry, Betty Lester, Minnie Morgan, and Kathy Ball; and four brothers: Joe, Moss, Jessie Jr., and Virgil Hatfield.
Izetta was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved gardening, raising dogs, cooking and spending time with her wonderful family and friends. She was a homemaker and a member of the Browning Fork House of Faith. She loved serving her Lord and Savior and lifting her voice in song and praise to Him. She was a gentle soul with a loving and kind heart and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to love and cherish the memory of her and to mourn her passing include her loving husband, Douglas M. Collins of Browning Fork; her daughter, Lynn Collins of Browning Fork; her three sons: Douglas E. Collins (Robin Preece) and Dennis (Julie) Collins, both of Browning Fork and Sheldon Collins (Samantha Buchanon) of Baisden; her six grandchildren: Cameron (Susan) Collins and Keegan Collins both of Lenore, Justin Nagle, Jordan Collins (Shannon Harper), and Brandi Thomas Collins, all of Browning Fork, and Brittany Thomas of Baltimore MD; her precious great-grandson, Braxton Collins of Lenore; her expected great-grandson, Brayden Collins; her two sisters: Emogene (Roby)Hatfield of Ripley and Juanita (Rush) Carter of Browning Fork; her three brothers: Layton (Crystal) Hatfield of Martha KY, Arville (Rita) Hatfield and Arnold (Betty) Hatfield, both of Browning Fork; her special friends: Glenda and Diane Belcher, Mildred Thomas, Polly, Sharon, Cynthia, and Trish Hatfield, Karen Sue Wilder, Barb Mounts, and Jessie Gravely; and a host of other dear family and friends.
Friends may gather with the family at the Freedom Full Gospel Assembly House of Prayer at Hampden, on Thursday, May 12th, from 6 pm to 9 pm with a special service at 7 pm.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Friday, May 13th at the Freedom Full Gospel Assembly House of Prayer with the Rev. Diamond Carter and Rev. Lowell Smith officiating.
Burial will follow in the Carter Cemetery at Browning Fork.
She will be carried to her final resting place by: Chris Belcher, Brandon “PO” Hatfield, Josh Hatfield, Travis Hatfield, Homer Hatfield, and Lanny Hatfield.
Those serving as honorary pallbearers are: Mick Thomas, Mickey Christian, Arnold May, Jimmie New, David Endicott, and Calvin Wiley.
She is gone from our sight but never from our hearts.

Visitation: Thursday, May 12th from 6 pm to 9 pm
Funeral: Friday, May 13th at 1:00 pm
Place: Freedom Full Gospel Assembly House of Prayer at Hampden
