Ida Cline, 89, of Baisden, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 28, 2009, from Williamson Memorial Hospital, Williamson, WV.
Born July 19, 1919, at Baisden, she was the daughter of the late Burgoyne and Mary (Lockhart) Cline.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: her loving husband, Delbert Cline; and six sisters: Edna Lyall, Vennie, Mallie, Pearl, Octavia, and Lucille Cline.
Ida was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a homemaker and of the Old Regular Baptist Faith. Ida will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to love and cherish the memory of Ida are: her loving daughter, Robin (Reuben) Mitchell of Baisden; her two grandsons: Reuben Shane (Julie) Mitchell and Cody Lee (Kayla) Mitchell, both of Clarksburg; her three precious great grandchildren: Sarah Grace, Joshua Shane, and Rebekah Mae Mitchell, all of Clarksburg; her sister, Lennie Ritchie of Baisden; her brother, Harry Cline of Baisden; family friend, "Big" Jim Hatfield of Gilbert; and a host of other dear family and friends.
Friends called at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel in Gilbert on Tuesday, March 31st from 6 to 9 pm with services at 7:00 pm with the Rev. Jim Nagy officiating.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, April 1st at the Rosa Old Regular Baptist Church with Elder Hobart Hamilton and Elder Gary Young officiating.
Burial followed in the Perry Cline Cemetery at Baisden.
She was carried to her final resting place by: Reuben Shane and Cody Lee Mitchell, Carey, Mark, and Terry Cline, and Eddie Chapman.
