Hillard Cline

Hillard Cline, 91 of Baisden, went home to be with the Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 from Williamson Memorial Hospital, due to an illness. Born February 7, 1925, at Baisden, he was the son of the late Jesse and Bella Cline of Baisden, WV. He was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters. Hillard was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was a member of the Full Gospel Church of God of Baisden. He was a Christian and he loved everyone. He enjoyed spending time with his wonderful family. Those left to cherish his memory and to mourn his passing include his loving wife Ruth Cline of Baisden; two daughters: Rita (Layton) Cline of Baisden and Zella (Ronald) Lester of Steeles; five sons: Willard Cline, Dillard Cline, Reace Cline, Darrell (Nancy) Cline and Adam (Stephanie) Cline all of Baisden; brother: Jesse Cline of Baisden; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews and other dear family and friends. Friends may gather with the family on Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 6-9 pm at the Full Gospel Church of God of Baisden. Funeral services will commence on Friday, September 30, 2016 at 1:00 pm with the Rev. Jonas Trent and Bro. Learmon Mounts officiating. Burial will follow at the Hillard Cline Family Cemetery at Baisden. Hillard will be carried to his final resting place by family and friends. His wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by those who were fortunate to have known and loved him.
