In loving memory of Harrison Williamson, 77 of Davin, WV, who passed away on April 3, 2014 from his residence.
Born on January 6, 1937 at Bruno, he was the son of the late Ransom and Jettie (Ferrell) Williamson.
Harrison was a retired scale man for Console Coal, he had also worked as a welder in California and Ohio. He served in the U.S. Army in 1956-1958.
He was a member of the Pathway Church of God and the Pastor there for 34 years. A preacher and fisher of men for 40 years. Harrison was very caring, and he had a great compassion for the sick and lost souls. He faithfully went to church, visited the sick, and comforted those in time of need.
A loving husband and father, he enjoyed gospel bluegrass music, playing the guitar, fellowship with Christians, visiting other churches, hospitals and nursing homes.
In addition to his parents Harrison was also preceded in death by his wife: Joyce Williamson; Son: David Williamson; Granddaughter: Adrianna Caldwell; Sister: Pearl Hall; Brothers: Paul and Floyd J Williamson.
Those left to love and cherish his memory and to mourn his passing are his daughters: Sherry Hager of Davin and Elizabeth (Bobby) Caldwell of Man; special granddaughter: Meranda Caldwell of Man; granddaughters: Rebecca Williamson, Haleigh Hagar and Harleigh Caldwell; a special person he loved like a son: JT; sister: Beverly (Gene) Sparks; brothers: Ransom “Yank” (Alice) Williamson, Charlie (Brenda) Williamson, Bob (Nana Lou) Williamson, Eldred Williamson and Les (Sandy) Williamson; three brother-in-laws: Benny and Roy Grimmett and Marlen Ellis; three sister- in-laws: Barbara Browning, Linda Lamb and Lisa Brown; special friend and family: Shirley Grimmett.
Nieces and nephews: Betty, Judy, Billy, Alice (Sissy), Doug, Timmy Joe, BJ, Chuck, Michael, Leslie, Chrissy, Steve, Alan, Beverly, Kenny, Jimmy, Rosetta, Sandra, Robert and many more. Special friends: Rev. Billy Cantrell, Rev. Johnny Hatfield, Rev. Ed Hunt, Rev. Joe Dearry, Rev. Ricky Endicott, David Burgess, Mack Altizer and Larry Adams.
Friends may gather with the family Monday, April 7, 2014 from 6 to 9 pm at the Pathway Church of God at Christian. With service at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the Pathway Church of God with the Rev. Ed Hunt and Rev. Johnny Hatfield officiating.
Pallbearers will be: Doug, Timmy Joe, BJ and Michael Williamson, JT, Bobby Caldwell and Kayne Brown. Honorary pallbearers are: Benny and Roy Grimmett. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Pecks Mill, WV.

Services:

Visitation: Monday, April 7, 2014 from 6 to 9 pm.
Funeral: Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 1:00 pm.
Place: Pathway Church of God
