Ellsworth Simpson, 93, formerly of Justice, departed this life on Thursday, November 22, 2012 in Ohio.
Born August 3, 1919, at Man, he was the son of the late James Columbus and Mary Toler Simpson.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Vannie Trent Simpson; one daughter, Carol Lester; one son-in-law Tom; his step-children: June Smith, Bernice Riffe, Franklin D. Smith and Charles Edward Smith; his brother: Sid Simpson; and his sisters: Kathern Sammons and Helen Aldredge.
Ellsworth was a loving husband, father, step-father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was a retired coal miner and of the Baptist Faith. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to love and cherish the memory of Ellsworth and to mourn his passing include his grandchildren: Lavana Sue Lester of Westerville Ohio, Teresa Gleich of Columbus Ohio, Regina Lester of Columbus Ohio, Linda (Sam), Rod and numerous more; his great-grandchildren: Summer, Kiearra, Mikayla, Jess, Ben, Mike, Andy, Lisa and numerous more; his great-great-grandchildren, Jay and Kacee; his brothers: Orville, Doyle and James Simpson; his special friend, Richard; and a host of other dear family and friends.
Friends may gather with the family at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel in Gilbert on Friday, November 30th from 11 am to 1 pm.
Funeral services will commence at 1 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Cecil Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Gardens at Matheny.
Ellsworth will be carried to his final resting place by family and friends.
Honorary pallbearers are: Sam and Richard Huston.
He is gone from our sight but never from our hearts.

Funeral: Friday, November 30th at 1 pm
Place: Mounts Funeral Home Chapel in Gilbert WV
