Causby Blankenship

Causby Ritchie Blankenship, 82 of Baisden, departed this earth to meet Jesus on Friday, September 28, 2012, at Williamson Memorial Hospital following a long illness. She was a homemaker and a member of the Rosa Regular Baptist Church. Causby loved gardening and spending time with her family.

Born March 22, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Estel and Alcie Cline Ritchie. She is preceded in death by her huspand Troy Blankenship Jr., and infant son, one daughter Deloris and her husband Jimmy Chambers, three brothers Hershell, Steve and Virgil Ritchie, three sisters Lilly Mae Ritchie, Shelva J. Cline and Lennie F. Long, two neices Lavonda Cline Carter and Drucilla Thompson Lester.

Left to carry on her memory is her son Bob (Jane) Blankenship of Ashland Ky, four grandchildren: Nicholas Blankenship, Maya Blankenship, Brandon Chambers and Benita Lynn Chambers. Two sisters: Dessie Mae (Judd) Cline and Elva (Emerson) Thompson and a host of neices, nephews and friends.

Friends may gather with the family at the Rosa Old Regular Baptist Church at Baisden on Tuesday, October 2nd from 11 am to 1 pm.

Funeral services will commence at 1 pm on Tuesday, October 2nd at the Rosa Old Regular Baptist Church with Elder Hobert Hamilton and Eric Williamson officiating.

Burial will follow in the Blankenship Cemetery at Baisden.

Causby will be carried to her final resting place by family and friends. Honorary Pallbearers will be Emerson Thompson, Judd Cline, Drexel Cline, Frank Porter and Keith Cline.
