Carey Cline, 66 of Gilbert, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and joined his loved ones waiting for him in Heaven, on Tuesday, March 26th, 2013 from Williamson ARH in South Williamson Kentucky.
Born on January 31, 1947 at Welch, he was the son of the late Silas and Vennie Cline.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by one brother, Teddy Cline.
Carey was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Upon graduating from Gilbert High School he attended Marshall University and taught at Ben Creek Grade School. Later he was a coal operator across West Virginia and Kentucky. He had various hobbies and interest as a race car driver and he competed and had numerous trophies and wins on dirt and asphalts tracks. He enjoyed traveling across the country for hunting, fishing and sports events. With extensive knowledge of American history, he regularly participated in the Civil War enactments as a confederate cannon operator and also as an infantry soldier. Being an excellent golfer he enjoyed winning a spirited game of scramble. His interest in aviation led him to becoming a pilot as well as flying RC planes and helicopters with his granddaughter Liberty. His only pet was Bozo, a yellow nape Amazon parrot. Carey was a member of the Four Winds Tabernacle and a member of the Masonic Lodge Iaeger 148 as a 32 degree and also a member of the Shriners, York Rite and Scottish Rite.
Those remaining to love and cherish the memory of Carey and to mourn his passing include his loving wife Pamela Cline of Gilbert; his two daughters: Kara Leigh (Edmund) Grimmett of Gilbert and Brandy Beth (Shaye) Justice of Justice; his granddaughter, Liberty Faith Justice of Justice; his three brothers: Larry (Linda) Cline of Williamson, Eddie (Ilene) Cline of Hanover and Mark (Linda) Cline of Baisden; his sister, Aracoma Justice of Baisden; John T. Hatfield, the son he never had; many nieces and nephews and a host of other dear family and friends.
Friends may gather with the family at the Four Wind Tabernacle at the Sprattsville section of Gilbert on Thursday, March 28th from 6 pm to 9 pm with Rev. Clayton Cline officiating.
Honorary pallbearers are: Edmund Grimmett, Shaye Justice, Stanley Justus, Dr. Michael Nester, John Mark Hubbard, Matthew Cline, Mark Chasten Cline, Anthony Cline, Chad Bishop, Randall Lester, Denny Lester and Mark Hatfield.
He is gone from our sight but never from our hearts.

Visitation: Thursday, March 28th from 6 pm to 9 pm
Place: Four Winds Tabernacle, Sprattsville section of Gilbert, WV
