Bonnie Godfrey

Bonnie Godfrey, 63, of Hanover, departed this life on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 from St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV. Born January 16, 1952, at Iaeger, WV. She was the daughter of the late Nellie Virginia (Godfrey) Reed. In addition to her mother she was also preceded in death by her grandparents: Onie & Ruby Godfrey; and her brother: Kevin Cline. Bonnie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She loved to crochet, spend precious time with her grandson, and enjoyed making everyone laugh. She was of the Baptist faith. Those left to love and cherish the memory of Bonnie and to mourn her passing include her son: Chris Cook of Hanover; grandson: Noah James Cook of Hanover; 2 brothers: Stevie (Companion Misty Mullins) Reed of Hanover and Kendall (Joy) Cline of Princeton; her companion: Curtis Lester of Hanover; and a special friend: Hazel Morgan of Hanover; many nieces and nephews and a host of other dear family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held for Bonnie on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at 6:00pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Lester and Rev. Jackie Lester officiating.
