Auxier Endicott

Auxier Endicott 84 of Gilbert, departed this life on Monday, July 21, 2008 at Williamson Memorial Hospital in Williamson WV.

Born on December 25, 1923 at Martin County KY, he was the son of the late Liss and Hattie (Kirk) Endicott.

Auxier was a retired coal miner and of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Gay Marie Endicott; one son, Ricky Dale Endicott; one brother, Clinton "Chicken" Endicott; and one sister, Marie Brown.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Auxier are: his eight sons: Michael (Irene) Endicott of North Spring, David (Debbie) Endicott, Roger (Debbie) Endicott, Shelby (Rose) Endicott, and Billy (Jackie) Endicott, all of Browning Fork, Clyde (Rebecca) Endicott of Hampden, Johnny (Janice) Endicott of Gilbert, and Bobby (Cindy) Endicott of Baisden; his three daughters: Margaret Brown and Jennifer (Dale) Collins both of Browning Fork, and Sonja (Todd) Mounts of Baisden; his brother, Efford Endicott of Gilbert; his sister, Letha Trent of Gilbert; his half brother, Jimmy Wells of Kopperston; his 23 grandchildren; his 28 great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

Friends called at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel in Gilbert on Thursday, July 24th from 6 to 9 pm. Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 25th at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Cecil Johnson and the Rev. Diamond Carter officiating. Burial followed in the Hollywood Cemetery at Gilbert. Family and friends served as pallbearers.
