Annette West

Annette West, 73 of Hanover, departed this life Monday, May 25, 2015 from CAMC General Division.

Born on June 27, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Georgia (Caudil) Cornett.

In addition to her parents, Annette was also preceded in death by her husband: Nathan West; her son: Jeffrey West; 2 sisters: Fannie Gillispie and Vernell Burton; 2 brothers: Arthur (Thelma) Cornett and Sidney Cornett.

Annette was a beautician and a member of the Hanover Missionary Baptist Church.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Annette and to mourn her passing are her 2 daughters: Robin West and Jennifer West, both of Hanover; 7 granddaughters: Kayla Bragg, Samantha (Jeremy) Colegrove, Hailee West, Kristin (Gavin Powers) West, Kasey West, Savannah West, and Sara Gregory; her great granddaughter: Gracyn Powers; 2 great grandsons: Brylee Colegrove and Jeremy David Colegrove; 2 sisters: Shirley Cornett and Dana Lawson; 2 brothers: Winfred Cornett and Ronnie Cornett; her daughter-in-law: Sherry West. Annette is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and other dear family and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Thursday, May 28, 2015 from 6 to 9 pm, at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel in Gilbert. Funeral services will be Friday, May 29, 2015 at 1:00 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home in Gilbert, with the Rev. Jackie Lester and Rev. Gary Browning officiating.

Burial will follow in the West Family Cemetery at Rock House, Hanover, WV.

Annette will be carried to her final resting place by her family and friends.

She may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
