Ann Hatfield

Ann Hatfield, 78 of Gilbert, departed this life on Friday, January 25, 2013, at Logan Regional Medical Center.

Ann was born on August 9th, 1934 at Tazewell Virginia to the late Jess Clyde and Iva Musick Mundy.

Ann was a wonderful wife, loving mother and mother-in-law and special grandmother. She was a merchant with Ward Hardware and Furniture Company in Gilbert. She loved spending time with her wonderful family and friends. Her beautiful smile and loving spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Ann and to mourn her passing include her loving husband of 58 years, James “Jimmy” Hatfield of Gilbert; her son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Valice Hatfield of Gilbert; her two granddaughters: Kendra Hatfield and fiancé Aaron Eshbaugh of Attleboro, Massachusetts and Kristina (Drew) Keaton of Cross Lanes; her expected great-grandson, “Baby” Keaton of Cross Lanes; her sister, Lucille (Amos) Hatfield of Gilbert; her brother, Bill (Barbara) Mundy of Grove City Ohio; and a host of other dear family and friends.

Friends may gather with the family at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel in Gilbert on Sunday, January 27th from 6 pm to 9 pm.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 28th at Highland Memory Gardens at Godby Heights of Pecks Mill with Bishop Anthony Hudgins officiating.

Ann will be carried to her final resting place by family and friends.

She is gone from our sight but never from our hearts.
