Mable Lester, 75 of Baisden, departed this life on Saturday, May 5th, 2012 at her residence.
Born on November 6, 1936, at Wharncliffe, she was the daughter of the late Opal Collins and Mary Ellen Hatfield Collins Bledsoe.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lee Lester, Jr.; two brothers: Kenneth and Melvin Bledsoe and one sister, Evelyn Lester.
Bernice Henderson, 63 of Baisden, departed this life on Thursday, May 3rd, 2012, at Logan Regional Medical Center at Logan.
Born April 3, 1949 at Iaeger, she is the daughter of the late Fred and Vernia Thompson Glanden.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters: Sandra Sims and Judy and Glenda Glanden and her brother, Hubert “Buddy” Glandon.
Michael Tyler Hatfield, 17 of Gilbert, departed this life on Tuesday, May 1st, 2012.
Born January 10, 1995, at Logan, he is the son of Michael and Patty Kennedy Hatfield.
Tyler was preceded in death by his sister, Summer Desirae Hatfield; his uncle, Justin Hatfield and one cousin, Roger Todd Hatfield.
Myrtle E. Tolliver, 89, of Baisden and a resident of Trinity Health Care of Logan since October 2011, passed away Sunday, April 29, at Logan Regional Medical Center.
Ms. Tolliver, “Nan” to all who knew her, was born at Bradshaw and raised at Three Forks of McDowell County. She was raised by loving parents James H. Jones and Abigail Jones. Raised to ride horses, shoot guns and climb trees, she was her dad’s pride and joy and he did not care to share that. She loved telling the stories of her youth and growing up.
Christopher Cline, 43 of Justice, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2012, at CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston.
Born November 26, 1968 at Welch, he is the son of Carolyn Neace and Ruben Cline.
Chris was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Anderson James and Bessie Francis Lester Cline and his maternal grandparents, Milliard Fillmore and Dovie Blanche Waybright Neace.
Mark A. Lester, 36 of Hanover, departed this life on Thursday, April 26, 2012, at Logan Regional Medical Center.
Born on May 12th, 1975 at Welch, he is the son of Hassel Lester, Sr. and the late Ella May Porter Lester.
Mark was a loving son, father, brother, uncle and friend. He was a coal miner and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Martha Kennedy Browning, 84 of Hanover, departed this life on Friday, April 20th 2012, at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley.
Born on April 14, 1928 at Simon, she was the daughter of the late James “Jim” and Delphine Blankenship Kennedy.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Don R. Browning; one daughter, Mary Ruth Browning; five brothers: Buster, Mack, Michael, Jessie and Johnny “Buck” Kennedy; and three sisters: Susan Lester, Ruby Browning and Sarah Morgan.
Joe Lester, 86 of Baisden, departed this life on Monday, April 23rd, 2012, at Trinity Nursing Home at Logan.
Born on February 18, 1926, at Baisden, he was the son of the late Dave and Lizzie Cline Lester.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife Mollie Cline Lester; seven brothers: Clyde, Mike, Herbert, Hilden, Bill, Shermanand Leck Lester; and two sisters: Esther Davis and Emmel Lester.
Ramona Marie Lester, 49 of Spice Creek section of Verner, departed this life on Sunday, April 15th, 2012, at her residence.
Born on November 1, 1962, at Iaeger, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Juanita Cresong Ball.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy D. Ball.
Ramona was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her wonderful family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Manson Smith Browning, 84 of Man, departed this life on Saturday, April 15, 2012, at Logan Regional Medical Center.
Born on November 29, 1927 at Landville, he was the son of the late Roosevelt and Cordia Smith Browning.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Smith Browning and two sisters: Vonnie Hatfield and Lena Faye Browning.
Manson was a loving husband, brother, uncle and friend. He was self-employed and of the Freewill Baptist Faith.
