Donald R. Hatfield, 73, of Gilbert, died Friday, May 13, 2011 at his residence, following an extended illness. He was born June 22, 1937, a son of the late Virgil and Ida Trent Hatfield.
A graduate of The University of Tampa and West Virginia University, he completed post-graduate work at Marshall University and West Virginia University.
On Tuesday, May 10, 2011, Izetta Collins, 65 of Browning Fork, heard the Lord calling her to her heavenly home. She answered the call and departed this life from her residence, surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Born on December 23, 1945 at Browning Fork, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Lee and Mary Louise Hatfield.
On Wednesday, May 4th, 2011, Ruth E. McBrayer, 92 of Justice, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, from her residence.
Born on June 2, 1918, at Iaeger, she was the daughter of the late Bertha Godfrey Cooper.
In addition to her mother Ruth was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Edgar McBrayer; her maternal grandparents, Bailey and Rachael Godfrey; and three infant children.
On Tuesday, May 3rd, 2011, John L. Browning, 76 of Gilbert, heard the Lord calling him to his heavenly home. He answered the call and departed this life from Logan Regional Medical Center in Logan.
Born March 30, 1935, at Gilbert, he was the son of the late Rockford and Francis Barger Browning.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Donnie Browning.
Dorothy Leah Poe, 63 of Spice Creek section of Verner, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and to join her many loved ones waiting for her in heaven, on Saturday, April 23rd, 2011, from Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington.
Born on November 6, 1947 at Verner, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Ollie Browning.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one grandson, Preston Cooper Poe; one sister, Eloise Slack; and two brothers: Gerald and Bennett Browning.
Stephen Lee Cline, 59 of Baisden, departed this life on Saturday, April 23, 2011, at Logan Regional Medical Center in Logan.
Born on May 9, 1951 at Baisden, he was the son of the late Hoover and Thelma Lester Cline.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers: Hoover Cline, Jr., and Sterling Cline.
John D. Jude, 53 of Lizzard Creek, formerly of Ned’s Branch section of Gilbert, departed this life on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Logan Regional Medical Centeri n Logan.
Born on March 1, 1958, at Welch, he was the son of the late John R. and Lexie Stanley Jude, Jr.
Teresa Lynn Howell Blankenship, 44 of Justice, departed this life on Saturday, April 16, 2011, at CAMC-General Division in Charleston.
Born October 21, 1966 at Logan, she was the daughter of Milford and Hazel Riffe Howell.
Teresa was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Lacy and Juanner Howell of Martin County, KY; her maternal grandparents, Burton and Minnie Riffe of Justice; her brother-in-law, Douglas Mullins of Wharncliffe; and her uncle, Bill Riffe of Justice.
Timmy Paul “Bubba” Wolford, 41 of Hampden, departed this life on Tuesday, April 12th, 2011 at his residence.
Born April 7, 1970 at Man, he was the son of Junior Wolford and Sharon Kay Doss.
Timmy was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He was disabled and of the Protestant Faith. He will be greatly missed by numerous family and friends.
Racina Rae Chapman, 23, of Justice WV, beloved daughter, sister, and friend, departed this life from Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown in the early hours of April 17th, 2011 following a short illness.
She was born August 11th, 1987 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley to Hallie Chapman-Harless and the late Racy Chapman.
