Born on February 17, 1930 at War Eagle, he was the son of the late Nanny Cline Hardin.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife Jean Hardin.
Frankie Ann Brown Ellis, 45 of Bruno, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, August 10th 2011.
Born March 30, 1966, at Man, she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Annie Toler Brown.
Frankie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a homemaker and a member of the Hunt Baptist Tabernacle. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Former Gilbert, WV resident Sarah “Ellen” Simpson, 92, passed away Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011, at her home in Niota, TN. Born on August 18, 1918, in Hampden, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Smith and Alice Nancy McDonald. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Colie Simpson and four brothers, Willie, Arthur, Elmer and Dorsel Smith, and one sister, Francis Blankenship.
Quincy Layne 68, of Baisden departed this life on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at Logan Regional Medical Center.
Born on October 8, 1942 at Isaban, he was the son of the late Sanford and Juanita Cline Layne.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Mose and Amanda Cline, paternal grandparents Floyd and Ida Layne and special friend Donna Sue Lester.
Douglas Coleman, 71 of Banner Kentucky, formerly of Mohawk, departed this life on Monday, August 1st at his residence in Branner.
Born on December 16, 1939 at Mohawk, he was the son of the late Elige and Stella Mae Cline Coleman.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Margie Lee; one brother, Ervin Coleman; and one stepson, Carl Justice.
Edward Eugene “Ed” Brown, 49 of Wharncliffe, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Saturday, July 30, 2011, from CAMC—General Division, at Charleston.
Born August 11, 1961 at Welch, he was the son of Janice Hatfield Brown and the late Eugene Fields Brown.
In addition to his father he was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Eugene and Alma Brown and his maternal grandparents, Lee and Mandy Hatfield.
Angela Dawn May Cyrus, 48 of Gilbert, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and to join her many loved ones waiting for her in heaven, on Tuesday, July 19, 2011, from Logan Regional Medical Center.
Born on September 6, 1962, at Welch, she was the daughter of Gary May and the late Wanda Faye Bradford May.
In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Ricky Ferrell, Sr.
On Sunday, July 17, 2011, Billy Dean Davis, 66 of Delbarton, heard his heavenly Father calling him to his heavenly home. Billy answered the call and went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and his many loved ones waiting for him in heaven, from UK Chandler Hospital at Lexington, KY.
Born on January 15, 1945, at Delbarton, he was the son of the late Cecil and Edna Estep Davis.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Chiquita Jean Davis; his sister, Linda; and his brother, Donald Davis.

Born on September 3, 1969, at Welch, he was the son of Bertie Hurley West and the late Marshall “Jerry” West.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Morris and Nora West and his maternal grandparents, Alda Robert and Esther Cline Hurley.
Clifford Eric Ellis, 19 of Panther, departed this life on Friday, July 8, 2011, at Panther.
Born on November 8, 1991 at Logan, he was the son of Clifford Ellis Jr. and Sindy Michelle Mounts.
Eric was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Russell “Buddy” and Ada Faye Bailey Mounts; an uncle, Ronnie Mounts; his maternal great grandparents, Bruce and Louise Mounts; and his paternal great grandfather, Henry Ellis.
