Stephen Douglas Ellis of Gilbert went to be in God’s care on February 10, 2011 from Logan Regional Medical Center.  He was born on March 31, 1955 at Fort Meade Md.  Stephen was the son of Richard Neal Ellis and Mary Ellen Toler Ellis.

 Wanda Cline Stokes, 78 of Coal Mountain, went to Heaven on Sunday, February 6, 2011, from Logan Regional Medical Center after a long illness. 

Born on March 13, 1932 at Big Branch she was the daughter of the late Owen and Ida Tiller Cline.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joe Stokes; an infant son, Kenneth Joe Stokes; her three brothers:  Roy Few, Rondall and Fontaine Cline; and her sister, Rosie Cline Short.

A sweet and loving child of God, Lillian Lester, 87 of Hanover, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and to join her loved ones waiting for her in heaven, on Tuesday, February 1, 2011, from Logan Regional Medical Center.

Born on January 14, 1924 at Leatherwood, she was the daughter of the late Compton and Laura Brook Runyon Browning.

Billy Joe McCoy 69, of Bruno went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, January 27, 2011 from Logan Regional Hospital.

Born on March 20, 1941, he was the loving son of the late Stergil and Mary (Smith) Altizer and Emeziah McCoy.

In addition to his parents, Billy Joe was preceded in death by his brother Rev. Ronald McCoy; his two sons in laws; Gordon B. Cline and Floyd E. Banks.  He loved spending time with his family and friends, and was of the Baptist Faith.

Born on August 2, 1933 at Reedy Creek of Simon, he was the son of the late Wirt and Sadie Kenneda Blankenship.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Helen Louise Lester Blankenship; one brother, Benjamin; and one sister, Marie.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty Ann Collins Haney; his three brothers:  Billy and Adolphus Haney, and Bert Spratt; and his sister, Lillian Haney Hoffman.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sons:  Earmon and Virgus Morgan; one brother, Elbie Morgan; one brother-in-law, Arson Keneda; and two nephews:  Aaron Keneda and Clinton Huff.
