Drewey Glen Wolford, 55 of Riverview Section of Gilbert, departed this life on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 from Logan Regional Medical Center at Logan, WV. Born on April 25, 1959, at Wharncliffe, WV, he was the son of the Late Bill and Magdalene Johnson Wolford. In addition to his parents Drewey was also preceded in death by a brother: William Ray Wolford; sister: Joyce Cantrell; niece: Karen Renee Johnson; mother & father in law: Saul & Rosa Dean. Drewey was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was a carpenter by trade.

Victoria Chapman Brown, 43 of Baisden, departed this life on Sunday, March 22, 2015, at her residence.

Born on July 29, 1971, at Man, she is the daughter of Eddie and Gay Testerman Chapman of Baisden.

Victoria was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Montana and Maple “Squirt” Chapman; her maternal grandfather, Lavern Testerman; one nephew, Andreau Chapman Morgan; her father-in-law, Eugene Brown; and a brother-in-law, Edward Eugene Brown.

Russell Dean Lester, 58 of Baisden, departed this life on Monday, March 16, 2015, at St. Mary’s Medical Center at Huntington.

Born on November 6, 1956 at Welch to Audrey Lester and the late Raymond Lester.

Russell was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.  He enjoyed sports and spending time with his grandchildren.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Robert Joe Ray, 77 of Gilbert, departed this life on Sunday, March 15th, 2015 at Logan Regional Medical Center at Logan

Born on January 24, 1938 at Cattelsbirg Kentucky to the late Cecil and Dorothy Johnson Ray.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Joel Brooks Ray and two infant twin daughters who died at birth.

Hazel Marie Dean, 79 of Fort Gay, departed this life on Friday, March 13, 2015, from Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa, KY.

Born July 2, 1935 at Raysal, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Hallie Gibson Hogston.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her late husband, John Dean; two sisters:  Nancy Hogston and Laura Bell Lester; and one brother-in-law, Lawson Lester.

Donald Gillispie

He was the son of the late Harvey & LaVadas Gillispie. Donald was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was a retired coal miner and born again Christian.

Earl Lee Lilly, 33 of Gilbert, departed this life on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 from Davin, WV. Born on November 11, 1981 at Man, Earl was the son of Donna Scarberry and the late Danny Lilly. He attended Reachout Community Church of Gilbert. Those left to love and cherish the memory and to mourn his passing include his mother: Donna (James) Scarberry of Gilbert; 2 brothers: Brian Lilly of Varney and Danny Lilly Jr. of Gilbert. Earl also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and a host of other dear family and friends.

Born May 4, 1937 at Brushy Fork of Isaban, she was the daughter of the late Burb Cline and Mandy Mounts Cline Stapleton. In addition to her parents Mae was preceded in death by her first husband David Cline , second husband John Sibo, her daughter: Amy Beth Cline; brother: Junior Lewis Cline; and sister: Rosetta Smith; step-grandson: David Cline. Mae was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
