Humphrey "Punk" Morgan, Jr., 23 of Denton North Carolina, departed this life on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston Salem, North Carolina.

Born March 15, 1991 at High Point, North Carolina, he was the son of Humphrey Morgan and Regina Kenneda Barnes.

In addition to Humphrey he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Virgie Morgan and his grandfather, Denver Kenneda.

Humphrey was a loving son, brother and friend.  He was one who enjoyed fishing and hunting and spending time with family and friends.

Texanna Bailey, 54, of Glen Fork, departed this life on Saturday, July 12th, 2014 at Bowers Hospice House of Beckley.

Born May 2, 1960, at Welch, she was the daughter of the late John and Elousie Kenneda Conn.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant sister; one sister, Elizabeth Barnett; one brother, Delno Conn and one nephew, Brandon Conn.

Patsy Ruth West Carter, born on February 4, 1951, in Wyoming County, the daughter of the late Morris and Nora Lester West, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 9, 2014.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Ott Carter; her borthers: Rayvonne, Lonnie, Jerry “Marshall”, and Stevie West; her sisters: Geneva Hatfield and Florene Woodruff.

Patsy was a loving, caring, and kind mom and grandma.

David H. Riffe, 55 of Hanover, departed this life on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Logan Regional Medical Center. Born November 24, 1958, David was the son of the late Hershel and Burnice Smith Riffe. David was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Kenneth Riffe. David was a very loving father, husband, brother and friend and will always be his son’s hero. He was a coal truck driver for McCoy Trucking.

Celia Kay Glanden, 61 of Baisden, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 from her residence. Born September 24, 1952, she was the daughter of Mildred & the late Rennie Lowe. She was preceded in death by her father Rennie Lowe. Kay was a member of the Justice Church of God, she was a devout Christian and loved witnessing for the Lord. She enjoyed spending time with her loving husband, children and grandchildren.

Born January 30, 1956, at Man, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Vanchie Ellis Boggs. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her 4 brothers: Roger Boggs, Ronald Boggs, James Boggs and Oley Boggs; 2 sisters: Narrine Cohn and Marie Boggs.

Born July 5, 1942, at Logan, she was the daughter of the late Venus and Minnie Trent Sowards. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bob Sowards, three sisters, Deloris Huff, Virginia Sowards, Margret Sowards, and one granddaughter, Trista Morgan.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by seven brothers:  Thomas Walls, Travis Gwinn Walls, Dallas Walls, Clayton Walls, Clinton Walls, Arden Walls and Harlan Walls; and three sisters:  Eunice Walker, Georgia Miller and Zola Blankenship; and a granddaughter, Brooklyn Dawn Belcher.
